High School Ready: Skills for a Confident Start
2026 Year 7 students
Starting high school brings new opportunities, routines and expectations. Our Transition to High School Group aims to help young people approach this change with greater confidence and practical strategies.
Through structured activities and opportunities to connect with peers, participants can explore the changes that come with high school, build independence and consider strategies for navigating new environments, relationships and responsibilities.
The group is planned to return for the January 2027 school holidays, building on the approach developed for previous programs.

Lego Teamwork Lab:
7-10 year olds
11-14 year olds
Build, create and collaborate!
Our Lego group uses a shared interest in building and problem-solving to create opportunities for children and young people to practise teamwork, communication and social interaction. Through collaborative building challenges and creative activities, participants can explore turn-taking, sharing ideas, negotiating roles and working towards a common goal.
The January 2027 program is being planned to continue offering opportunities for different age groups, with activities suited to participants' developmental needs and interests.

Chill, Create & Regulate
9-12 year olds
Explore creativity, emotions and self-regulation through hands-on activities in a supportive group environment.
Chill, Create & Regulate brings together creative projects and opportunities to explore ways of understanding feelings, managing emotions and discovering strategies that can support everyday wellbeing. Activities may include making personalised fidgets and exploring practical approaches to regulation, with activities tailored to the needs and interests of each group.
We’re developing the program for January 2027, with plans to offer different approaches to suit younger and older participants.

Animation Creation Group
9-12 year olds
Bring your imagination to life while connecting with others who share your interests!
Our Animation Creation Group will explore creativity, storytelling and collaboration through animation-inspired activities. Whether a young person loves anime, Pokémon, Minecraft, superheroes or creating their own characters and stories, the group will provide opportunities to share ideas and work together on creative projects.
Alongside the creative process, participants will have opportunities to practise social communication, teamwork, problem-solving and sharing ideas in a supportive environment.
The group name, activities and January 2027 details are currently being finalised.
Self-Care Sanctuary: Empower and Protect
10-14 year olds
Develop confidence and explore the everyday skills that support independence, wellbeing and self-advocacy.
Our Self-Care Group provides a supportive space for young people to explore personal care, everyday routines, communicating their needs and building confidence in themselves. Activities are designed to encourage participation, independence and positive connections with others.
The January 2027 program is being developed to build on previous groups, with a continued focus on practical life skills, personal boundaries and social communication.
Further details about the program, age range and booking arrangements will be released in November 2026.
Dance & Movement Group
Move, express yourself and connect with others through music and movement!
We’re excited to be developing a dance and movement program designed by our fantastic Physiotherapist and dance instructor, who has been working to create an accessible dance group where young people with different abilities can participate, express themselves and enjoy moving to music.
The proposed group aims to provide an inclusive, supportive and enjoyable environment where participants can build confidence, explore self-expression and connect with others through dance and movement. The program is being designed with accessibility in mind, recognising that everyone moves differently and should have the opportunity to participate.
