Down South Therapy Speech Pathologists are highly experienced in the provision of specialised evidence-based services to infants, children teenagers, and adults with and without diagnosis.

We provide individual, paired and group Speech therapy sessions for individuals with a range of diagnosed and undiagnosed difficulties, ranging from but not limited to:
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Acquired brain injury
- Motor skill difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Stuttering
- Language difficulties – expressive and receptive language
- Oral motor movements – eating, drinking and swallowing
- Cerebral palsy
- Down syndrome
- Fragile X syndrome
- Hearing impairment
- Vision impairment
- Specific skill-based difficulties impacting on performance at home and/ or in the community
- Dyspraxia
- Dyslexia
Our Speech Pathology team can assist individuals in the areas of but not limited to:
- Articulation - pronunciation of sounds and lisps
- Expressive language – vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, the words your child is saying
- Receptive language – comprehension, following instructions
- Literacy/ phonological awareness – letter knowledge, syllabification, rhyme, spelling and reading, all of the skills that your child needs to succeed in literacy
- Stuttering
- Oral motor movements (eating, drinking, swallowing)
- Social skills
- Play skills
- Equipment sourcing and provision
- Environmental modification
- School and work performance
- Reducing frustrations associated with difficulties in communication
Down South Therapy Speech Therapists are also experienced in the provision of education and information sessions to parents, siblings, families, schools and community organisations. Our Therapists provide individual, paired and group based intervention.
